Hi, I’m Marta.

This story is a somehow vulnerable excerpt from the journals of my wandering soul – I am all hers. Yet she knows, she’s so much more than me.

She happened to journey for a while now and bound itself to teach Yoga and Ayurveda in this lifetime.

When I was little, I would watch my shoulder blades in the mirror waiting for a day I’ll see wings growing there. I would rush home after school to watch Sailor Moon and read the W.I.T.C.H. comic books… Well, the obvious fascination with magic, cosmos or the elements could only last as long as it experienced the reality check ?

Years later I was lucky enough to discover yoga. First as a wellness path. Then, as a philosophy. Finally, as a path of loving discipline and devotion. I was lost and scared at the time. The practice brought back my magic wings and steered me towards the direction that I forgot was authentic to my heart. I started a yoga teacher training around that time, not knowing there is no turning back.

Funny enough acne (and other hormonal imbalances) is what got me down the holistic healing path in the first place ? Inflamed pimples would stick with me for over a decade, even after Isotretinoin cruelty ride. All seemingly failed treatments were just an invitation to dig deeper for a root cause and to give me a lesson on self-confidence that comes from a very different place than flawless complexion.

Today I see, they wouldn’t let go, waiting for me to come back to the old good granny Ayurveda – the ancient code in teachings of mother nature that are omni-present and universal (yes, no matter your roots, believes or geographical location!)

As I first encountered her I thought – Whoa, Ayurveda is just like my grandma – She cared for me from the very beginning. She’s always been there for me. And at the end – She’s always right (as much as I could have taken her advice for granted). She’s always been a part of me, telling me to trust and ease in.

Finally, my Sagittarian mind was satisfied! The whole new definition of healing opened up right in front of me giving me a toolkit to understand myself as the part of this vast Universe. I didn’t hesitate much, if it’s worth a jump or not. Now, I want to share what I’ve learned throughout this journey and empower you on the path of understanding yourself through teachings of Yoga, Ayurveda & Jyotish.

You have a power to overcome any obstacle. You have a power to heal. I believe in you.
